"Bug.... mama, bug"

This bug is scarier that any redback, funnelweb or white tail spider in Australia. It might just be a house centipede, but it moved so damned fast and has such long ickky legs... Apparently they can even bite... Rubes loved spotting it though.

That is a common house centipede. They are really nasty and very fast. Totally creeped me out, and having to kill about twenty-five in a two month span wasn't nice either. They can leave pretty nasty bites; I got bit between the eyes while sleeping and the area was irritated for about a month, and left a bit of a scar. Get an exterminator to come by because the five store-bought brands didn't work. Good luck!!

that's actually an older centipede... common house ones don't have the golden color and move slower... when they age past a certain point they become those, which are called "thousand leggers", which move really fast and their venom, depending on how old tehy are is poisonous to humans to some extent.
